I'll admit it. My harddrive crashed and well the blog was left behind months ago!

Well- the 2009 Festival was great! I pray you attended and were blessed by God's everworking presence in your life. We are pushing through the summer to plan for next year's festival! Pray how you could be involved or how to Lord would lead you to attend. We may have some changes of dates coming next year- some Canadian friends have shared that they are still in school through the 3rd weekend in June, so we are considering pushing it to the next weekend.

The Indie bands have been chosen for the Big Ticket Tour in Traverse City on February 21st at New Hope Church.The crowd will help decide which of these bands will play on the Indie Stage at the Big Ticket Festival in June. So come cheer on your favorite band.

The band selection for the Big Ticket Tours in Grand Rapids, Highland & Lansing will be posted later this week.

The only bad thing about starting twitter, and youtube, and a blog all in the same week- I forgot the password to get into the blog!

Well- Things are progressing at the BTF office. We've announced the BTF Tour- check out the website for more information! http://www.bigticketfestival.com/tour.cfm You get the chance to chose which Indie bands get to play on stage.

One of our own is expecting a little one next month so we had a great baby shower for her last month as well. It is always exciting to celebrate God's creation of a new life.

We're planning to announce the list of new artists added to the BTF line up this weekend! You can join our Facebook group, add us on Twitter, or check back here for an update before it is released any where else!! :)

Hello everyone!

This year we are hoping to get a little more active online by adding the blog, updating on Twitter (bigticketfestvl) and actively updating our Myspace and Facebook pages with the latest information.

So, what will you find here on the blog? We'll try to keep it fun and entertaining, we're also hoping to get some posts from some of our feature speakers, possibly artists, and updates from our office staff.

We'll be posting information here BEFORE it goes on the webpage www.bigticketfestival.com but don't forget to check out the webpage for schedules, ticket prices, and lodging information.

Ticket prices go up April first! :)
